When you register or use the parent portal, we collect:

• Account information — parent/guardian name, email address, mobile phone number, and home address
• Student information — student name, date of birth, and gender
• Emergency contact — name and phone number of your designated emergency contact
• Payment information — billing history and transaction records (card details are handled by Square and never stored on our servers)
• Communication preferences — your consent to receive email communications from us

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Manage your account and student enrollments
• Send billing statements, payment reminders, and receipts
• Communicate class schedules, studio announcements, and important updates
• Process online payments securely via Square
• Contact you in the event of an emergency involving your child

We will only send billing reminders and studio communications to parents who have given explicit consent during registration. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

3. Photos & Videos

As part of our normal studio activities, we may photograph and video-record students during classes, rehearsals, and performances. These images may be used on our social media accounts and in studio promotional materials (website, flyers, recital programs).

Consent to this use is part of the registration consent (the checkbox you accept when signing up) and is a condition of enrollment. If you have a specific concern (for example, a court order restricting your child's likeness from being published), please contact us in writing before registering so we can discuss your situation individually.

We do not identify minors by full name in publicly-visible captions. If you later wish to have a specific image of your child removed from a post under our control, please contact us and we will honor the request as soon as practical.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may receive your information:

• Square — processes online payments. Card numbers and payment credentials are entered directly into Square's secure environment and are never stored on our servers. Square's privacy policy is available at squareup.com.
• Google — if you choose to sign in with a Gmail account, Google authenticates your identity. We receive only your name and email address from Google. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request that your account be closed, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial records).

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password storage, and restricted access to personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our portal is designed for use by parents and guardians. We collect student information (name, date of birth) only as necessary to manage class enrollments. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13, and children do not have direct access to the portal.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request corrections to inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Withdraw consent to receive marketing or reminder emails at any time
